Tough luck: SARKAR

Yet again the right to freedom of expression was jeopardized by the puppets of the Tamil Nadu government. In a recent recurring incident, the ruling party of Tamil Nadu, AIADMK was seen protesting against the Vijay starrer movie, 'Sarkar'. The opposition against the movie erupted due to certain scenes in the movie, which were in reference to the late Jayalalitha, who is allegedly shown in a bad light.  It has been reported that the movie includes scenes wherein the main protagonist dejects things like grinder, which were provided by the government. As the late Chief Minister also used to offer such things to the poor, the obvious co-relation has become intolerable for the AIADMKians. The unfortunate reality is that even thought this film was legally certified by the Central Board of Film Certification, the protestors are demanding the intolerable scenes to be deleted for the film to retain itself in the theatres, directly questioning the legal authority of the CBFC.  This is not the first time when such an incident has taken place and the budding situation has led to a state wherein the producers and the director of the film has voluntarily decided to drop out the contentious scenes from the movie.  Though the matter is beginning to cool down, such a dogmatic behavior of the crowd doesn't stand in the greater interest of the nation, threatening the fundamentals of democracy of this diverse nation. This incident signals to an unfortunate fact that freedom of expression and legal proceedings don’t stand a chance if a handful of people gather and create havoc on the streets. The toxic misconduct of violating the law is spreading out like a wild fire, taking the form of a norm.  It’s time that the situation is considered by the administration and law enforcement becomes a reality to cherish.

REVIVING DEVBHOMI

Today Uttarakhand is widely known as the Land of the Gods. However there exists a rather not so godly story behind its formation. Let’s delve into that today.
The formation of this 27th state of India was a result of the struggle that the natives of this region went through, after experiencing states of neglection and the consequential deprivation. Before independence there were many associations which were created to uphold the rights of the people belonging to the hilly regions. Though, the demand for a separate state for the region came in the year 1952, in the year 1938, during a conference held in Srinagar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru along with Vijay Laxmi Pandit did shared a vision of making Uttaranchal a separate state after independence. Unfortunately the vision remained a vision and the region became a part of an ethnically different state of Uttar Pradesh. This led to lots of issues for the people belonging to the remote hilly regions as more often than not, were they neglected and sidelined as the matters of the plains became more prominent and significant in the eyes of the Uttar Pradesh administration.

This was the beginning for a voice of change and soon people began demanding a separate administrative block in the hilly regions too, this demand evolved for a separate state within a few years. In the year 1952, P.C. Joshi became the first person to voice this issue. Fazal Ali redistribution commission also recommended the formation of a new state for the betterment of the people and economy. Decades passed but the consistent denial of the state government became a norm and riots followed the course of action. Persistent riots and the follow up by police intervention became a rightful norm and such incidents broke out quite a few times. The struggle took an ugly turn when on 2nd September 1994, during one of the major disputes, seven civilians got killed by police firing. However the tables turned when in the year 1996, the then Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda announced the soon to be formation of a new state of Uttaranchal from the Red Fort of Delhi. It was initially thought that Uttaranchal was formed to cater to the long neglected people of the hilly regions. However, the ethnic diversity was cited as the significant reason for the decision. The state was renamed as Uttarakhand in the year 2007 after the Union Cabinet brought in a bill for the cause on the grounds of it being the ancient and original term for the region.
Nineteen years have passed and much has changed but the issues of economic backwardness and development persists and the hilly regions still lack the needed attention. However things are looking better and change is visible especially after the Uttarakhand Investors Summit of 2018 which raked in a mammoth amount of Rupees 74,000 crores to be invested for a high speed growth addressing projects ranging from film cities to tourism and industry in one go.

SENSIBLE #METOO

The #metoo campaign of Hollywood has proved to be a contagious one for India.  With the surprising confessions of sexual misconduct by popular celebrities, coming out in the open, there seems to be a wave of confessions all across the globe. The misconduct that people faced in the past is turning out to be the talk of the town since a while.

This frenzy has reached in India and the blunt allegations have taken the Hindi film industry and media by shock. Some bold female celebrities decided to come out of their shell and share their traumatic experience. While they got patted on their backs, the accused men are being openly abashed in the public for the things that they are yet to be proved guilty of. Moreover the definition of harassment is to be clarified, so that the public can know what can be termed as misconduct and what as a genuine approach. Though we can assume that there are a lot of genuine cases amongst these, but there are also cases,  whose motive is to grab public attention or to just create havoc in someone’s personal life. In addition to this, the media trials that are taking place on the television screens must be put an end to. This is needed because of the sensitivity of the cases, wherein we must allow the concerned agencies and systems to act and hold on our personal biases and opinions.

While it won’t be wrong to say that this campaign was meant to empower women, but it has failed to remain uncorrupted. The culprits are being openly denounced in public even without any intentions of filling an actual legal FIR. Agreed, that there can be many genuine allegations amongst these, which came in light with the help of this campaign, but we have to understand that any allegation is just an allegation until it is proved in the court.  In the midst of all this, the ministry of women and child development has asked for all the allegations to be legally verified, so as to ensure fair justice to all the parties involved. Being responsible mature citizens, we should try to understand the gravity and dynamics of the situations and not react in a hurry; instead we should openly look at these accusations as mere accusations, without preconceived and biased notions and leave the decisions in the hands of our respected judiciary.

Resetting India-Maldives ties

Though Maldives is a small nation with a population of 4.25 lakh but due to its strategic location in the Indian Ocean, it is on the high priority list of the Indian government. The result of the recent elections that took place in Maldives are out and surprisingly the Yameen government is also out of power, which is a big sigh of relief for India.  Why? You ask.
It is because the former president of Maldives, Abdulla Yameen, who is said to be a pro-china, has been thrown out of power and the new presidential candidate from the Maldivian Democratic Party, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has been elected to power by the public. The controversial Yameen was never good news for India due to its close relations with sugar daddy China. In the infant years of his tenure, the polices seemed neutral towards India, however over time, he grew more close to China and Pakistan, which resulted in the fall of Indian ties with Maldives.  Maldives, being an active member of SAARC was invited to the swearing in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, this goes on to prove that by 2014, the Indo-Maldivian relations were in a position but soon the tables began to make a turn. The Yameen government which was accused of distorting the democratic institutions in Maldives by imprisoning its opponents faced a lot of criticism worldwide due to which Yameen decided to pull off Maldives from the Commonwealth republic, in the year 2016. All this ensured a rough response from India too and Prime Minister Narendra Modi cancelled his planned visit to the island nation. At this critical juncture when the world was criticizing Yameen, China was hailing the leader by supporting the country with all its power and wealth. This closeness of Mal-China relations can be measured by the fact that Maldivian government have already signed a Free trade agreement with China, despite all the protests and resistance. Not just this, Maldives had also signed a MOU with Pakistan, wherein Pakistan is supposed develop its power sector.  The funny thing is that even though Pakistan lacks the potential expertise and finance, it was chosen on priority basis over other well equipped nations like India.

All these were an indirect sign for India to understand the direction of wind in the Indian Ocean region. The bone of contentions was sown, and they became crystal clear when Maldives government denied to participate in the Indian naval exercise and also scrapped a helicopter deal to further ridicule the Indian government. Consequentially, India decided to stay clear from Maldives. Meanwhile the Mal-china relations flourished. China seemed to be trapping the island nation into it’s yet another debt trap. However before the Chinese government could have done more harm to Maldives, fair elections happened. To make sure that Maldives goes through fair elections, the United States and the EU threatened sanctions against Maldives, if anyone dared to render the democratic process and this is how Ibrahim Mohamed Solih came into the picture. Though there are many decisions that had been already taken such as giving Feydhoo Island on a lease to a Chinese company, we can hope that the new government would definitely try to reset everything that Yameen had done wrong.

COMCASA ordeal

Its been a while since India signed the COMCASA deal.  After contemplating the whole agreement, India finally signed the COMCASA during the last 2 + 2 meeting between USA's defense secretary, James Mattis and The secretary of the state, Michael Pompeo.
COMCASA or the Communication compatibility and security agreement is another version of CISMOA, specifically designed for India. COMCASA accord is a sign of growing intimate relations with the United States of America. It is one of the four major agreements that the US signs with its close allies. Though getting into this accord has not been too fruitful for India so far, this deal simply means that now India would be able to use advanced defense systems for communication, which is a creation of the states. It will work as a vehicle of contact between both militaries. Sure, it gives scope to India to buy high technology devices from US; however it also enslaves us in certain ways. Via this agreement the US military will have access to internal data of India, which can be a major setback, thus such a step taken by the Indian government aims at cajoling US at the cost of its security and safety, wherein they get a pawn in the form of India to control the south Asian region. Just a few days before signing COMCASA,  China's official newspaper named global times suggested India to not rush in into this deal.
What India expected after signing COMCASA was a green flag for buying S400 missile defense system from Russia. This thing is illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia in the year 2014, which had resulted in economic sanctions on Russia by the West. Under these sanctions, an embargo on importing and exporting of military and dual used goods was also present. It seems that India have wistfully assumed that this accord would help them to buy the defense system from Russia without getting under the radar of the United States.
Even after becoming a close ally of USA, India failed to get any concessions. It is evident from the fact that the Oil crises going on in India are a result of sanctions placed on Iran by USA. The construction of chabahar port in Iran, which is a strategic point for trading with central Asia, is in midway due to the same reason. We could say that this diplomatic tie has not been a sugar deal for us and to say that this is the sanest decision taken by Indian government in a decade would be a clear cut lie too.

Coup against US dollar?

In a recent meeting amongst the top heads of Turkey, Iran and Russia, all pitched for a recurrent idea of trading in gold instead of accepting any other currency, especially the US dollar. They hinted that as gold doesn't carry any political baggage, it can be efficiently utilized as a potential common currency. The fact of the matter is that currently these three nations are facing severe sanctions from the United States for multiple political reasons which are in turn proving to be a huge threat to these economies. The recent fall of the value of Turkey's currency, Lira has worked as an alarming sign for the nation, which has forced them to take desperate steps. Not just Lira, the Russian currency, Ruble is also under constant devaluation and Iran is also on the same chord, the common threat of which being, as mentioned earlier, United States’ sanctions and its dollar.
The market value of the US dollar is currently the strongest amongst every other currency in the world. In the year 1945 after the World War 2, America emerged as a valiant and technologically rich nation and was also pegged to be helpful as it was involved in helping other European nations for their re-habitation purposes. Every other nation looked up to the United States as a leader and that is when all the nations agreed on introducing a new monetary system known as Bretten Woods, under which, the US dollar was recognized as a global reserve currency. Not just this, US dollar was also linked to gold at the rate of $35 per ounce. The United States had the responsibility of keeping the price of gold fixed and had to adjust the supply of dollar to maintain confidence in the future. But soon these European nations started withdrawing their reserves, which resulted in America taking precautionary steps, such as discarding the use of US dollar convertibility to gold. This helped the USA to increase their circulation in the market. But still the amount of US dollar used was lesser by a notch. To maintain it further, the USA made a pact with the Saudi Arabia and other OPEC nations which spoke about USA giving these nations security; in return of which they were to trade their oils in the US currency. This step taken by the American President Richard Nixon again increased the use of the Dollar in the market.  This is how dollar grew and maybe this is how it will fall. The recent meeting of Russia and China during Eastern economic forum agreed on using any other currency other than the US dollar while trading. This may not affect the united nation at the moment but will certainly raise a question on the status of super-power held by the American giant as even the rising trading country; China is also posing as potential threat to the monopoly of the States. Currently 63% of the world reserves contain US dollar which is major reason as to why $ still stands strong. It would be interesting to see that how long America gets to dominate in the prevalent globalized economies of the planet.

Kerala floods; not so of a natural catastrophe

A brief overview of this situation would make it crystal clear that the floods that caused havoc in Kerala were not just a result of nature’s wrath, human doings invested mutually with natural forces.
Many would peg floods as a natural calamity but what we don't know is that it is triggered by our certain acts that we do to nature. Kerala floods were no exception. At this point of time nothing that happens in nature can be classified as natural anymore.
This is not the first time when Kerala received excessive rainfall. In the year 1924, Kerala was wrecked with much more intensified rainfall but the impact was not as much as it has been, this time around. The sole reason is the current ecological deterioration of this south Indian state.
According to a report, between the years of 1920 to 1990; Kerala has lost about 40% of its forest cover i.e. 40% of its protection shield against such calamities. Rainfall just worked as a trigger to this whole catastrophe. The actual fundamental of this disaster was already set up when both, central and state government denied the reports of the Gadgil Committee. The western Ghat Ecology Expert Panel's( AKA Gadgil committee )reports suggested that excessive urbanization was not Kerala’s cut of tea, the committee made sure to mention in its report that building of more dams in the state would affect it adversely in the future. They also wanted Western ghats to be divided into 3 ecological sensitive zones.  The reports were totally against materialistic development in the state at the cost of environment but the panel denied this report by saying that it was anti developmental and thus against the interests of the citizens and so the government paid no heed to this committee. The government went forward towards Kasturirangan Committee, which was too lenient when compared to the Gadgil committee.
Even after knowing about its sensitivity, multiple dams were build. Today, Kerala have 42 dams which are much more than needed. Idukki, the most flood affected district alone have 12 dams. Not just dams but the rivers in Kerala are misguided too, the route of the rivers are diverted for the sake of construction. Rivers that used to simply flow to Arabic sea are now stuck in the land. As a result, the Kochi airport is submerged in water due to flood. Nature is not something that can be manipulated.
The Dam management authority is also to be held accountable for the damage caused by the uneven and unplanned release of water from these 42 dams, which proved to be fatal and severe. The thing is Dam authority was also clueless about the monsoon showers, if they would have released water before rain, then there would have been scarcity of water during summers. Both the choices were equally unpleasant for the authority.
Although there is always an inbuilt mechanism in nature to overcome such situations. Kerala also had its protective layer in the form of forest and paddy production. Kerala was a giant, when it came to production of paddy but in last 30 years, the production of paddy has gone down to 1.5 lakh hectares from 8 lakh hectares and the forests were also sacrificed for the sake of development. Hence the capacity of the soil to absorb water has been lost too. This is a major reason why Kerala is facing exacerbate level of destruction.
We can thus state that the Kerala flood is a result of our doing. We must take this as an alarm sign, as even worse things await us, if we do not wake up now!

1990’s; A decade to remember

Whatever India is today, it’s all a result of an unknown journey that India had during its 90’s. That whole decade was fascinating and was filled with hardships. Lot of things happened, which shaped the way India is today.
The dawn of 1990 was not quite a start that India was looking forward to but the end justified all the wrestle and grapple that India went through in that decade.  The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi in the year 1991 by LTTE (Liberation tigers of Tamil Eelam) was enough to send a wave of mournfulness and grief all over the nation. No one would have guessed that it was just a start, a start of a tremendous journey the end of which was unknown to all of us. The sole reason behind his assassination was said to be his involvement in the Civil war which was on in Sri Lanka. The LTTE was afraid that if Rajiv Gandhi came back to power, he would again support the Srilankan government, which in the past didn’t work out in their favour. It was for the very first time when the whole nation saw the live telecast of anyone’s funeral. The nation was glued to their television sets to see their Prime Minister’s last rites.  By the time India recovered from this heart wrenching incident, the case of Babri Majid happened. In the year 1992, a mob, politically motivated wrecked Babri Majid saying that it was built at a site, which is considered as Ram Janm Bhumi (the place of lord Ram birth). This incident brought differences between the Hindus and Muslims and no political party ever wanted to get involved in it. This incident was marked as a black day in the history of Indian culture which questioned its very diversity. At the same time, India was also going through financial crises. The economy of India was falling rigorously and the government needed to take tough decisions to restrain the economy, hence the New Economic Policy by the then union finance minister Manmohan Singh. The main focus of the New Economic policy were Liberalization, privatization and Globalization and these reforms worked as a foundation for the now steady and blossoming economy of India.
Our economy was improving and somehow people were getting back to their normal lives but then the Bombay Blasts shocked the whole nation. Some 12 consecutive blasts resulted in 257 fatalities and left thousands with severe injuries. This attack on Indian soil was planned by Dawood Ibrahim, who also had his name in the most wanted list of USA and Interpol. No one could understand these inhumane acts against humanity. Everyone was scared and maybe this is what those terrorist wanted. This decade was proving to be a tragic one. Soon after Bombay blasts, India was hit by Surat plague and Latur earthquake. Everything seemed to be falling apart for the nation.

Then came the year 1997, when India celebrated its 50th Independence Day. The day, India earned after several sacrifices and efforts. The initial half century of India’s independence did help people to forget the struggles of the past. Right after celebrating its 50th anniversary of Independence Day, India became a nuclear power in the year 1998, under the leadership of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who instead of worrying about sanctions, went forward towards becoming world's next nuclear power. After formally announcing to the world about its nuclear power basket, India faced a lot of criticism from the global power, United States of America which asked India to give up its weapons of mass destruction. However India's "no-first use" policy helped it to gain back their trust again. In the year 1999, when India broke out against Pakistan over boundary infiltration and violation of ceasefire, the nation proved of its capability of keeping its word under any tempting situation and India's credibility touched the peaks. The conflict went on for 2 months and India recaptured all its posts in Kargil that were occupied by the Pakistan army. India ended its overwhelming decade with this operation Vijay, where it won the 2 month long battle with flying colors.

India bid its farewell to this eventful decade with a serene smile.

SOUTH ASIAN SAGA

There had been an unseen conflict between India and china over the dominance on south Asian region. The relations shared between India and its neighbors have been pleasant since ages, until now. The growing distance between India and its well trusted neighbors has been a reason behind India’s constant worry. The steps taken out of desperation to keep its allies together are clearly visible. Be it the recent surveillance aircraft given to Maldives or the line of credit given to other countries to keep them away from china’s influence. Modi government had this foreign policy of ‘neighbor first’, which did wonders to its relations with other neighboring countries, at first. The swearing-in ceremony of Modi, where the leaders of SAARC (South Asian association of regional association) were invited was marked as a landmark for new budding relations with other south Asian countries.  But who knew that the end would be not as great as its start.

Pakistan has always been a sour spot for India, when it comes to maintaining diplomatic relations. I mean since ages India has been trying to build healthy ties with Pakistan but it has always been in vain. And maybe due to this apparent reason China has been its BFF, for god knows how long. Pakistan and China’s intimate relations have always been the talk of the town in India. But the flourishing association of China with other nations such as Nepal, Bangladesh etc has been keeping India on its toes, to put more efforts to sustain their own relations. Thriving China’s investment in every neighboring country is definitely bothering India. China is investing three times more than India in Nepal. Nepal has been giving India a cold shoulder since it’s elections in 2013, accusing India of manipulating its elections and exploiting its natural resources. Not just Nepal, Bhutan, a land locked nation between China and India is biting off its nail, worried about its existence. Bhutan has been an all weather & trusted friend of India since its existence. But after Doklam stand off its relations with India are still uneven. What India expected after coming in total favor of Bhutan was a warn gesture not some diplomatic talk. Since then the relations have shrunk and China is glad to fill the vacuum. Though China is yet to grow its fangs in Bhutan.
But unlike Bhutan, China has already grown its control over Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
At first billions of dollars of loan was given to Sri Lanka over and over again to win their trust. As a result Sri Lanka was unviable to pay back the mammoth amount of loan to China. So in return it sold its Hambantota Port to China on 99 year lease and now China has its influence over Indian Ocean too. As a measure to maintain its control over Indian Ocean, India was compelled to buy the Mattala Rajapaksa International airport in Hambantota (built by China and AKA World’s emptiest International airport) to keep a keen eye on China’s movement.
But in case of Bangladesh, India still has time before China fully empowers Bangladesh economically. The bone of contentions between India and Bangladesh exist since decades. The unresolved water dispute(Teesta River), Illegal Immigration and growing trade deficit of Bangladesh due to high tariff rates of India has been some key points towards diluting relations. In Nov 2011, India considered the request of Bangladesh of lowering its tariff rates; it gave free access to entire products except Tobacco and Liquor, which constitutes 30% of total export of Bangladesh.  Bangladesh wasn’t as ecstatic about the decision and as a remedy, it is playing China card to balance India. Using China’s growing investment as a sign for India to treat them soundly.

The geopolitics of South Asia is at its peak. India needs to revise its foreign policies to keep china’s influence in check and to keep itself safe from being isolated from its own region.

Joblessness in the country!

India has the biggest pool of the young ones in terms of population in the world and it is said that a young population is a key towards a well accomplishing nation, not just in terms of economy but also in terms of social structures. But alas, India has always been a path breaker and although half of the Indian population is under the age of 30, it still lags behind from the world, despite surpassing others in terms of human resources and a prominent reason behind it is unemployment i.e. despite having the talent there is no room for its expression.

Statistics reveal that, in the year 2018, 31 million people in India are jobless and the numbers are constantly on rise. Every year, hundreds of thousands of students graduate from college and venture out for earning opportunities. However, only a few of them prove to be capable enough and lucky enough to grab a decent job. The major reason behind this scenario is the lack of quality of education and the scarcity of jobs in the market. This creates a desperate situation wherein people applying for jobs, which are below the stature of their qualification. Many try to secure government jobs and the others look forward for private ones. In a recent study it was observed that for every 1000 jobs that gets available, there are 1 lakh candidates applying for it.  Due to the scarcity, students decide their courses not based on their orientation but on the earning opportunities of it.

So, do you now understand where we all are going wrong? It’s a simple math’s.

Job seekers > job creator’s

There exists a huge gap between the number of jobs available and the number of candidates applying for it. To bridge this gap we need to generate jobs, which can be done only by bringing in new companies (multinationals) or starting our own i.e., startups.
80% of all the students who graduate, look forward towards working for a well renowned organization, opting an easy way out. The rest 20% dream to nurture their own company. This not just generates job but it also boosts up the economy.

In the past, the United States, The Scandinavian and the other north European countries were the ones who used to foster the culture of innovation and entrepreneurships. Now, even India has begun to walk on their path. In the year 2015, The Indian government initiated a policy named “STARTUP INDIA”, which was meant to encourage young entrepreneurs to start their own company.  Apart from startup India, government also started “stand up India” to bring out talent from certain underdeveloped categories. This policy allows a person from specified category to loan money from 10 lacks to 1 crore, just to encourage people towards innovation.

Under the policy, the government decided to assist the drive creators, not just financially but also in every other possible way. The government here works as a backbone, just in case if the business fails then the policies lessen the blow for the business person. It can thus be said that in today’s time,  the Start up’s are very crucial for economic growth and if, in the near future India manages to thrive mere 10 start up’s, then we can be sure about economy being on track with a boom in no time.

The Inner Turmoil

We, humans are too naïve to understand that happiness is an inner phenomenon. No outer element in this cosmos can deter it. But apparently we are on a path, where our emotions and moods depend on someone else or something else. The cost of our happiness is over-hyped as we look forward towards materialistic gains to feel more joyful. Whatever we do for our survival is an act of making ourselves and our closed one’s happy. Our unsaid destination is to feel good, and everything that we do, is meant to make us feel happy. The job that we are running behind is our imaginary journey towards a pleasant feeling called happiness, the reason behind this is a conclusion made by us, which states that a stable life with the help of a stable job would end up making us happy. But is it so? Is it so that after getting a job, all your life problems go away?  Due to this misconception we mistake our journey as our final destination. For an instance, stop running behind things and start enjoying what you already have.

Many of you might not sympathize with what I said but I am sure that any sane person would agree with the fact that ‘just money’ can’t bring any sunshine to our dull lives. If it was so, then the richest nations would have been the happiest ones too but on quite the contrary, they are the most neurotic and depressed ones. Money brings us comfort, which we directly relate with our happiness and this keeps our happiness always on the fluctuation mode. When money comes, we become happy and when it goes, it takes away our happiness. In all these efforts of fixing the world, we give away the keys of our happiness to the circumstances around. It is up to us what our definition of happiness is and should be. It can be anything starting from a simple smile to a million dollar car. But I would definitely recommend you to make your happiness so cheap that a penny-less person could also earn it. Not just this, the concept of ‘enough’ is not engraved in our system as our greed and desire for new things makes it difficult for us to harvest happiness. When you learn to put a full stop to your personal desires that is when you attain contentment.
What we are marching towards is not development or maturity but inflation.
In our childhood days when we used to see a ten rupee note, we used to get elated. But today even ten thousand rupees are not enough to bring smile on our face, this is not growth, this is inflation. What could have been done with a small ice cream to a little child needs a thousand things and multi dollar notes to be fixed for an adult. As a child we were not inflated but now our demands are high. The simple villagers who were simply happy with a full rainfall in the season, today needs high speed internet, huge infrastructures and the whole governing body to re frame itself to feel a little satisfied. We are making ourselves and all around us hugely inflated which is making it difficult for people to smile naturally.
As a child, we lived the lives of a slave, we had to eat when others fed us, used to clothe what others decided on our behalf, used to wake up and sleep as per instruction, we were quite helpless, but you cant call it an exploitation as we were happy all the time, just because we had simple economic routes to happiness and were not inflated in our minds and ideas. Today we enjoy heavy freedom but the inflation cost of happiness makes it difficult for us to let go and smile like a human

The initial step that is to be taken by us is to fluently manage our senses between controlling them and allowing them to flow freely. You should know when to put a full stop to the economics of our lives. The clarity of this crucial decision makes you think different from everyone.  On one hand, you have to be in charge of your senses with total control and on the other hand, you should know when to loosen the reigns that you hold. By doing this you allow them unravel the dimensions that were never looked upon.
Once in a while be happy for no apparent reason.

WALKING TOWARDS OUR DOOM

Ever heard a child desiring to be a farmer?
Agriculture has been there with us ever since the origin of human civilization and it would not be wrong to say that, our ancestors survived here due to this knowledge of land. The excavation of early Indus valley civilization points towards the fact that people of the ancient time considered agriculture as an incumbent element for their survival and consequentially were able to contrive many agriculture techniques which escalated the production multiple times over. Moreover the kind of farming practices they used flourished both the crops and the resources. The prevalent techniques of farming of that time also are mentioned in the Vedas. For  example, the Angara preparation i.e. earthworm seeding, coating of seed with ghee before planting,  pest control with the help of cow urine and spraying amritpani, which is an accumulation of special herbs, in the fields, greatly enhanced the bioactivity necessary for farming. But over time many of these techniques were lost due to many reasons.
The scenario is quite the opposite in today’s time and the methods used to increase the production are very cruel towards the soil and other natural resources. India’s 5th largest import is towards organic and inorganic chemicals. By this we can make a judgment as to how much we are making our fertile lands suffer. Instead of exercising our pristine and lasting methods of organic farming, we are shifting to rely more on chemical fertilizers to magnify our output. Though we can agree on the fact that chemical fertilizers help the farmers earn more profit but the questions that needs to be addressed are, “at what cost?” and “is it sustainable”.

The usage of these fertilizers has lead towards a situation where the land is turning sterile, incapable of growing any other crop. Not just this, it is also affecting the soil’s potency to hold water and nutrients and this method, over a certain period of time begins to build up toxic elements which are capable of killing a plant lives and destroying the soil nutrients.
The sole reason why farmers use these chemicals is to increase their profit but today, the scenarios of the hiked input costs, low market selling price and zero risk coverage is hardly leaving them with any penny. The situation is worsening as over a hundred thousand farmers have committed suicide in the last ten years in this country. However the realities are beginning to change now as government have started prioritizing the farming sector, the value of MSP have been increased and the farmers are being educated about various biotechnology such as forming manure from sewerage.
Before independence, 70% of the India’s GDP used to come from agriculture but today it has dropped down to 53%. It signifies our shift from being producers to becoming importers. Today the crops that used to be grown in India are being imported from different countries. Growing population and decreasing number of the farming population is definitely not a beneficial combination for India. Just last year, India imported 2.7 million tons of wheat from Australia, Ukrainia and France. The sad part is that we are turning incapable of feeding our own population.

We all seems to live under an illusion that all these realities doesn’t affects us in any way, but the unveiled truth is that it has been affecting us and will do so more in the coming few years. It’s just that we are busy turning a blind eye over it, trying to somehow avoid the sad reality. In last 40 years, earth has lost 33% of its arable land and we all the responsible for this fiasco. However it remains retrievable even now if we take the necessary steps. If not now, then I am sure that we are walking towards another dust bowl, which could be fatal. We are in a world where the population is growing at a rapid phase and the need for food is dire. It is said that if we save the amount of food that is wasted every year, we can feed up to almost 3 billion people on an average. So, the next time you throw something out; remember that in the coming years you won’t be fortunate enough to have it.

NURTURING A NEW LIFE

The right way of parenting is yet to be known by the mankind. It’s a complicated process, while indiscriminate affection might lead them to become unreasonable, not expressing enough love can make them feel secluded. No matter what you do, loopholes are unavoidable here. The environment in which you are brought up plays a major role in what you become. You do something wrong, and your parents get blamed for that more than you. It’s easy sowing a seed than nurturing it.
The crucial ingredient of near perfect parenting is to spend your time with them.  In such a young age whatever we do, it affects their life. So we must make sure to be on our best behavior when around them because whatever we do, they will mirror it. Growing trends of nuclear families, not enough space to play; increasing role of electronic gadgets is hindering the healthy process of growing up. Teenagers are getting diagnosed by diseases at a very early age and the major reason behind it is our contemporary sedentary lifestyle.
With modernization, countries of the east are mirroring the steps taken by the west, even in something as intricate as parenting. The modern day parents are willing to make their infants spend their childhood in crèches instead of home. The ways of the west are getting prevalent in India in the name of development.  In the surveillance of babysitters or crèche’s, both the mother and the father are leaving their child unattended in the name of providing a better future for the child with more income. It can be said that in the name of a better and stable future, the child’s presentis being played with. Crowded crèches makes it difficult to pay enough attention to every child. There is nothing wrong with crèches or baby care centers, as long as they take appropriate care. The fact remains that unlike the countries of the west where they have developed a certain alternatives of babysitting, we are not well equipped with the intricacies of childcare in a city atmosphere, yet.
This process is also affecting the child at many levels. The early years of isolation leads to many psychological issues and builds a far fletched gap between the emotions of both the parties. Your absence from your child’s infant years makes you less reliable for them in the years to come.
The outbreak of puberty can be dramatic as well as rebellious and trying to control them at that time would be a cumbersome effort. These are the phases when you need to shift yourself from a parent to a friend, like a patriotic friend, who won’t judge them for their wrong decisions. It’s the time to let them know that making mistakes is fine, as long as they learn from it, for them to know that failing an exam is okay. To build up a certain level of trust to ensure that they don’t fabricate lies to you is important. All of these things will make sure to strengthen your bond. What’s needed is involvement, not interference as it might threaten their personal space, for a child to become a man, some space is needed and we have to be considerate of that.
Bringing in a new life into this world and then nurturing it to make sure that it turns out to be an incorruptible and fine soul is definitely an exemplary accomplishment. This may seem like an easy path to follow, but when you travel it, it gets just convoluted.

IT’S NOT PLASTIC, IT’S US

It’s simple. We use the planet’s resources and blame others for its deterioration.  Mankind has always led a very self-centered life and look where we are today due to it. The source of our life i.e. water is depleting at an alarming rate, soil is turning into sand and lush green forests are becoming stringent deserts. The negligence of human mind has very much contributed to the world’s environmental decay. For all these variations, we play the blame game.

Today there has been a new trend to decry plastic. According to a study only 9% of the plastic manufactured is recycled. That is why I say that it’s not plastic that is acting as a major factor to deplete earth’s value, it’s us, humans. Plastic is not an issue; but the way we utilize it and dispose it is the only thing that matters. Plastic has been an adept making of the human mind but we perceive it as a hazardous element, because we fail to observe the merits of it. The production of plastic is quite affordable along with its selling cost which makes it the ideal choice of the marketers. We don’t need to emphasize more on its existence. What we have to do is to make sure that all the plastic that is manufactured is disposed absolutely and properly. It is being predicted that by the year 2050, our oceans will have more plastic than fish. To believe that we can’t face this upcoming disaster is not a utopia; it can be very much achievable if we bring in mass awareness and take sensible action. This time we need to override individualism with unification.

The good news is that the plastic recycling market is gaining speed. The market size of the recycling industry in 2018 is said to be of $37.6 billion, 7.1% growth since 2017. Asia’s largest slum, Dharavi’s annual turnover is about 665 million rupees just by recycling.  The recycling industries are less in number; hence there are more opportunities in this field.  People just need to understand the worth of the waste.

To understand it more clearly we can take an example of Kamikatsu, a village of Japan who has mastered the art of ‘zero waste’ can definitely teach us some productive methods to overcome plastic salvaging process.  80% of the plastic waste is being recycled in kamikatsu, whereas only 20% is disposed to landfill. The villagers categorize plastic into 32 categories to simplify the process of recycling. The good thing about them is that instead of consuming their time on pointing a finger on plastic, they are utilizing it to find an economic and ecologic solution bringing it benefit for all involved.

UNCONTRIVED INTELLIGENCE

There have been plentiful speculations about the impingement of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, just around the corner. Futurists like Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking and many more experts of A.I are opposing the genesis and bettering of A.I technology.  Since many years this issue have been a burning topic which has kept many people on their toes, startling them about the very fate of mankind.
To get a clear picture of the subject, let us get to know what AI is and what is it capable of doing?
In simple language, artificial intelligence is the outcrop of human intelligence wherein the data gets processed by the machines. Even now we all are surrounded by this hi-tech science. The security of your phone in the form of face recognition or fingerprint is an example of A.I. Not just this but the language translators, phone assistance such as Siri of Apple and autonomous cars are all forms of A.I. Now you might wonder how these conveniences are a threat to us. To answer it, the current form of artificial intelligence that we are currently using is the least efficient version of artificial technology, also known as narrow artificial technology which is not even 20% of the potential that A.I carries; this makes us appreciate its possibilities and abilities of A.I.
Narrow artificial intelligence is a tailor made intelligence which is confined for a peculiar operation. The main complication is the "strong artificial intelligence” which is the upgraded version of it and this is what is making the humankind face the perils. This system is not only capable of doing basic tasks but it can also be programmed in such a manner that it mirrors the human mind. The programs of this intelligence can enable it to have its own mind rather than stimulating the human intelligence, which will make it a cake walk to surpass the human wisdom. The proclamation about A.I not feeling human emotions and sentiments is a sincere myth. There will be only one thing which will make humans different from A.I and that would be INTELLIGENCE.  On the other hand the upcoming technology could be superior to us in terms of intellect and physical strength. Due to a heightened level of intelligence, they might as well dominate us.
There have been many alarming exposures of A.I Doings. One of them is, while Facebook was planning to develop chatbots that would be able to communicate in human language, they found an error and observed that the two of the chatbots were conversing in a language that was only understandable to them. And they were even able to end it with proper essence. Consequentially and almost immediately Facebook abandoned the project.
The bots created by artificial intelligence are not only taking our jobs but will soon be able to act as our sexual partners too. It is said that by the year 2050, copulation with robots will be an offhand phenomenon. The misuse of A.I as a weapon can jeopardize the lives of many and can prove to be another weapon of mass destruction, if fallen on wrong hands.
As of now we can only proliferate such theories. If A.I has to work in the favour of all, then those who handle it are to be the right ones. Thus before we venture out to develop it further we must give it a thought to develop its handlers first to be sensible and wise. In the future, if we make these technologies handle the survival of our lives and economies, human beings would have a lot of time in their hands to look beyond it and create something more fantastic which is beyond the capability of any machine.

Cherishing Yoga With The World

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
- Bhagavad geeta
Yoga has always been there with us since ages. It is a well-remembered bestowal from India's ancient tradition. So, when on 21st June, we celebrate the world yoga day, it makes me remember the prolonged wandering of yoga.
The outset of yoga have been said to be unquestionably very senile. Shiva, a mythological character of India’s rich figmentation is said to be the begetter of this age old folklore. He is also known as Adiyogi, which means the first yogi, the first person to manifest the seeds of yoga in the world.
The legend goes about saying that about 15,000 years ago, a man appeared in the foothills of the northern Himalayas, where he sat for months, absolutely still even without a slight movement. He was a nine feet tall, well-built man. At first he attracted a lot of attention as people gathered in hope of some miracle but soon every one lost their interest except seven of them. These seven tailed the man and requested him to share with them what he knew. The man denied but they remained adamant on learning it. Finally, he agreed. The man is now known as Shiva and the 7 men are called as the "saptarishis" - The Seven Sages, who propagated yoga across the world in gratitude towards their preceptor. These stories remain uncertain due to oral transmission; however during the excavation of Indus-valley civilisation, various coins were found wherein Shiva is seen sitting in yogic postures. The science of yoga has been resilient for millenniums and this comes out to be apparent as the  word, “yoga” finds mention in the sacred and the earliest written text of Rig Veda.
In the year 1893, when Swami Vivekananda represented India in the parliament of World’s Religions, he did give a clear insight of India’s tradition which included secularism and yoga. He lured the crowd into recognising the godsend blessing in the form of Yoga. He was confident that if the western world welcomes yoga then the whole world will follow its footsteps. This is what had been the endeavour of our honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who, in the year 2014, proposed the idea of rejoicing the world yoga day on 21st June in the United Nations, which gladly accepted the proposal with 177 of its member states voting in favour of it, which so far had been the highest number of majority gained in the UN.
Today, more than 180 countries celebrate and participate in what is termed as the international yoga day. It is an ancient science which with its appropriate inner technologies makes it possible for a human being to function at his optimum level with a comprehensive sense of health opening up human’s physical, psychological and spiritual possibilities.

Break free from Depression

Once in a lifetime, we all go through it but we choose not to talk about it. We refuse to dig into the sensitivity of the topic.

Today, let’s talk about the elephant in the room,
DEPRESSION.
We human beings give more attention to physical illness than the mental ones. In spite of depression being a major contributor to the overall global burden of diseases, we still dismiss this plague as nothing important. About a century ago, people generally were more engrossed into physical activities which kept them physically fit, which in turn reduced the chances of a mental breakdown. At that time there were only a few, who suffered from mental illness. But today our lifestyles have become sedentary and people are using their brain, more than ever. This is now leading to a state wherein they are getting identified and overburdened by the knowledge they accumulate. The problem here is not our brain, we don’t know how to handle it – this is the problem. In order to dodge the suffering, people are getting into substance abuse at a large scale, which makes a part of their brain dull, when under its influence. This is a form of escapism rather than facing the problem.
One of the reasons of us not confronting the problem is that it is not physically apparent, but happens at a subtle level. Thus to understand it demands some attention. To revise the consequences of it, here are some key points.

1) More than 300 million people across the world are suffering from depression.
2) In many cases, it can lead to suicide.
3) 1 out of every 20 people in India is suffering from some sort of mental disability.

Even after all these alarming signs, we still consider depression in least of our concerns.

Now to understand depression precisely, we should know its ingredients. These are -:
Negativity
Defeatism
Pessimism
and Misguided perception
The dawn of depression, thus is negative thoughts. In this state of mind we attract pessimism. We feel defeated and worthless and hopeless about getting out of this mess. There is evidently a fine connection between our mental and physical wellbeing. A robust body leads to lively mind and similarly a body which is dull and wearisome all the time, leads to mental illnesses. There is a strong connection between these two faculties and the diseases of such aspects are known as the psychosomatic ones.
Now if you think that your daily mood swings and alien emotions count as depression then it is not so. Depression is much more than that. It’s a feeling of undeniable helplessness, where there appears not a single ray of hope. All the negative thoughts begins to accumulate and with time they start hampering our perception and happiness.

Depression is not something that can’t be cured. To get rid of this we first need to take it as a potential threat by an honest faceoff to be able to seek some help.  It’s just like a quagmire; you can't get out of it, without seeking help. Talk to your closed ones about your mental state and get every ounce of negative toxic emotions out of your body and mind. It’s hard to open up the vulnerable side of ours to everyone but once we do it, we feel liberated and light hearted.

Depression is not as tough as you. Face it and talk about it.

Dynamic Education.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

In the current scenario, the heart of education is on materialistic improvement and peculiarly benefits rather than on the holistic growth of mind, body and spirit. Education is not just about things that are in books. What I have come across is that education is no more knowledge oriented, it has become job oriented now. We study not to learn new things but to grab a good job which offers us a handsome salary.

In many developed nations, like the Scandinavians, the education has shifted itself towards skills development rather than just grabbing a degree. But here we study in order to get a degree. And this is one of the main reasons why we are facing a crisis of unemployment as even after graduating, individuals lack the basic skills which are much needed.

About two centuries ago, when India was still a colony of the British, our education structure was changed meticulously by the British. They framed our education in such a way that we were only taught to fill the grey areas for clerical jobs. We were taught only to be followers, not leaders. The same structural changes were made to many colonies but as soon as they gained independence, many of them reframed their structures as per the requirements, however we as Indians were too naive to do so. To this date, we follow the legacy of the British.

To find a curious mind among a sea full of people who cram things up is difficult nowadays. Education is a potential mechanism through which, we can contribute towards the betterment of the society. Maybe this is why education is counted as one of the fundamental human rights, which allows us to gain primary education, free of cost. However we can’t say much about the quality of education.

Education has been commercialized due to which the teaching and learning process in schools and colleges have been disrupted to attain maximum profit. Whereas, it takes efforts to provide quality education to all.

It has also helped us to bring a major gap between those, who can afford it easily and those who cannot. To change the system completely is not possible on short term basis. It’s a gradual process which will happen if we invest appropriately upon bringing up quality teachers and other people involved in the sector of education. Therefore we should add elements that are more liberal and emphasize towards development of individuals as a whole.

Education is a lifelong process. We just can not stop it after a certain point. We learn at every phase of our life. The number of zeros behind our salary partially depicts our qualification. but a major part of it is constituted by how we behave with others, irrespective of their cast, religion or financial status. We should educate yourself, not just to earn money but to contribute towards the development of your society.

Misconceived Feminism

If a girl talks about feminism, then the whole world starts thinking that she is here to claim how requisite she is. Feminism now a days is termed as an insult. And I cant even wonder why!

Feminism was a positive word, which was used in early 19th century to bring reform on issues such as reproductive rights, domestic violence,  maternity leave, women suffrage, sexual harrasment and so on.
This was actual feminism, not the things that we hear in todays world. What we get today is a seriously distorted image of feminism. Today's feminism is less about equality but more about domineering men. Many feminists are confused with the mere concept of feminism. Many take it as a imagined fight against men. They are under some spell which makes them hate men. Womens fought against crucials issues to attain equal rights. But now!
A girl riding a bike is feminism for us. Or worse, a girl doing jobs which were usually done by men is feminism for this generation. We deliberately do not want to see the bigger picture.

Although when the first phase of feminism started in late 1960's, women's imitated men. They thought that copying men would make them equal to them. They started doing things like men, starting from the clothing style to the manner in which they talked. But later on when they collected their thoughts, they
realised that how lame their opinion was and how weak they sounded.  And soon they realised their notion of feminism.

Now they considered that free women is the real recognition of a feminist.  A women who is not locked in the shackles of the society. That was the time when they truly established what feminism was.

The ironic part is that, on one hand women's demand equality and on the other side they solicite for exclusive rights. Many government examination forms are free for female gender. And I bet that every feminist out there ignores this fact and still uses these privileges.   Why?
Simply because they are bunch of feminists, who are so darn confused with their identify of feminism. And eventually they still call themselves feminist.

There was a time when world was in chaos of war and at that time women's undoubtedly needed guardianship. As the order of the world was maintained by force. And we all are well aware that females are weaker than men, when it comes to physical dimensions ( I see some feminists calling me sexist here). So men obviously had upper hand at that time. But now, to survive in this era all we need is cerebrum power. And luckily there is no dissimilarity in this case. So why are women's still treated as charity case?
They have access to everything, be it education or employment opportunities.

As a true feminist, I beleive that we, females dont need things to be served to us on clatter plates. Let us work hard for them. Please dont spoil us.

As emma watson said that feminism is about freedom of choice. Its about freedim, liberation and equality.

India: Soon To Be Union Of Quota

This is for sure, I will never understand why government is still entertaining the idea of reservation. Scenario's have changed, people dont need reservation system, they want it. And the difference between need and want is what government needs to understand.

Implementing Reservation system was fair, back in time but now it is all in vain.  Infact it has started to stirr the pot, which will definitely not be in favor of India's development.  Back to back vying of groups for reservation has started to become cliché. Jat arasxan, Patel reservation and maratha reservation. The list keeps growing. If not stooped,  then soon remaining groups wil join the agitation for their own quota.  Due to this people are still discriminating eachother. And only because of reservation system, people still remember castism.

Reservation was meant to help backward groups but now it has started showing its adverse effects. Spurring reservation system is like getting ready for the impending doom. Government should reconsider the rights given to people on the basis of thier caste, instead of this the idea of reservation on the basis of economic grounds should be entertained.
So, instead of swashbuckling over quota, peole should try emulation. It does wonders to their discerning capabilities. Getting assertive over reservation has becomes the new exhortion for Indians.

What astounds me more is the fact that people are looking forward towards special benefits, instead of eradicating it from its core. I mean if people under reservation voluntarily quit using quota benefit then it will become easy to curb reservation. But the reality is far from imagination. People are ready to get bloodied just for reservation. This is also the main reason why we are still a developing country. Due to this system, we opt a person for a job, who is less capable of doing it. That too only because of his caste.
For the closure i would like to quote Jawaharlal Nehru  "The only real way to help a backward group is by giving them enlarged possibilities of good education." By giving them education, we are giving them an opportunity to shine in this world just like any other person.
If we deeply analyse the current situation then reservation free India seems to be a utopia.

Introspecting others

We tend to get infuriated when someone says a word, which is against our perception and beliefs. Our upbringing never brought a concept of accepting that we are different and so are our ideas. We never learned to respect someone's view.

Now you must be wondering that what a silly topic i choose to discuss. but hey!

In my defense it is one of the major reason why we go through wars or fights.

World is a small place but when we look out for ideas, they are never ending.

The thing is in the process of growing up we never gave much thought to what other person thinks. We have a firm belief about our perception and when someone tries to challenge it, we get defensive. We so much get into it, that we forget that maybe, maybe the other persons perception might be reasonable. There are two kinds of truth;

1) my truth.

2) Your truth.

For example, the barbarians who attacked the rich land of India did so to earn wealth for themselves and their community however the natives of India experienced the attacks as ruthless barbarian acts. Similarly in order to facilitate our lives we are expanding our civilization at the cost of our ecology however the other forest creatures of our planet experience it as a ruthless act by humans. What we are doing in the name of development is good for us but its a life taking decision for the other creatures.

CONFUSING? Well you wont be anymore after reading this.

"Truth is a hypothetical illusion created by an individual based on his/her knowledge and belief".

A person will be able to see a situation only to a  point, till where his knowledge allows him to. They might not have a full clear picture of a situation due to insufficient knowledge. To see the truth you have to judge all the aspect of the situation, without judging it. The moment we see someone doing anything which is inappropriate according to the society, we start pegging that person as an outcast. We start believing that he is yet another person with abnormal thinking. In other words we simply start calling them 'pagal' (crazy). A person with different kind of analytical skills is a misfit in our society. Most of us choose not to accept them among us.

You all must have come across various situations where you just get into an argument because what the other person was speaking was completely opposite to what you think. In these kinds of situations most of us choose not to get out of the argument due to 'big fat reason' that we often call EGO. Who gets impregnated whenever someone tries to defy us.our society have defined what a normal person behaves like and if  we come across anyone who do not posses those qualities then according to the society they are useless, as they can not benefit society in anyway. We repel a person who is different and by doing so we repel his point of view. And this creates a situation of intolerance. In these kinds of situations, it is to be understood that all such issues comes from arrogance. Thinking that your way is the only way and all others are wrong is simply an egoistic arrogance. The one who keeps his arrogance aside, accepts others and does not face most of the difficulties that others face.

A child does not face any issues because he does not think he is intellectually superior. So he is untouched.

Memories that withhold our present.

I know you might wonder what am trying to do with 'memories' and 'present'.

Well we often stick to memories, when we need a escape plan. Whenever we feel sick of our present, we tend to escalate towards a land, which is full of good memories. Those memories makes us forget our fiasco. Remembering those days brings a carefree smile over our wrinkled face.
But today maybe am not in a mood to talk about good memories.  Why always good?
lets enlighten you to the darker side of the memories.

To start with there is no good or bad memories. Dont get all confused now, there is no good or bad in the world. Its all about your sense of seing things. Now I would have definitely elaborated this topic,  but lets leave this for someother time.

Bad memories?  Familiar with the term?
oh yes. You totally must be knowing what it means to go through a phase which brings out the worst kind of days that you must have faced. There are lots of things that you might have done out of your foolish behaviour, which must have lead you to a situation, where you stood all helpless.

"There is no bad or good memories, its all about how you see things"

Letting go of old things is difficult. We all must have been through a phase which we want to forget at any cost. We do everything is our power to eradicate that incident from our memory. Not just this, if anyone brings up that topic we highly get irritated by there presence and we get into a gloomy mood. But i always wonder, why to forget things!

"Forgetting memories means that we deliberately want to get rid of that experience, which also helped us to become a better person".

Can't we just live with the fact that it taught us something which might be helpful in near future.  Forgetting means you are embarresed of what you did. Embarresed of your deeds which inspired you to do great things.  Everything that happens with us, not just gives us bittersweet memories but they also teach is a lesson. A lesson which would change the way we analyse things. It makes us immune to that same foolish act.

"If a particular thing goes against our favor then we term it as bad".

Not everything is bound to go in our favor. We have to get used to the fact that at some point things will go against us. And instead of dreading that experience, we need to learn from it and let it go. No matter how much we dread our past due to these incidents, but in the end all we can do is cherish them and promise to not commit same thing again. There is no need to be guilty of what you did in the past, afterall at that time you really wanted it.
So get over the fact that something miserable happened in your past. Dont try to forget it. Remember it till the end and learn from it. Sometime we got so attached to our past that it gets harder to concentrate on our present.  Don't let this happen with you.

"A man is said to be growing, when he starts schooling himself with his past experiences".

The epic tale of mistakes.

To begin with, I don’t know the exact sentence with which you could be enchanted to me. If you are afraid of what future holds for you, if you don’t have any idea regarding what you are doing to your career, then yes you are in the right place.

But if you are mistaking me as someone who would be giving you ready made answers then you got me wrong.
I mean if I need to tell you something then initially I should know about it. I am still in a confused state just like you. So I believe that we should find the answer together.

So it begins with the question, “what will I do after graduation”. You know this simple question is not so simple. When you hear this question, you either neglect this question or you go deep into it. If you neglect this question, its good and well, you will be happy, you will be away from depression, away from all the worries of life but your future won’t be secure. You will have to face this either now or later.
Moreover when you actually think about it, when you get the real meaning of this word, you will begin to face this question “what are you going to do?”
And this question, “what am I going to do” will ruin your present, trust me it will ruin your present.
So, this is what I am taking you to right now. People are really confused regarding what they are going to do. When we complete high school we are full of zest and hope. We are full of energy. We believe "ki kuch nahi hoga to kuch na kuch to kar hi lenge" and in the first year of college it’s not about what am I going to do about my career, it’s about how am I going to enjoy my college life. We are carefree and trust me, first year is the best year in your whole graduation period. It’s the only time when you won’t be thinking about your future, it’s the only time when the teachers won’t be asking you about your career. It’s the only time when your parents don’t pressurizing you about your future. And then people start expecting things.

"Expecting things, essentially isn’t a bad thing but when you know that you won’t be able to fulfill those expectations, then it hurts like a bitch."

This is where the guilt catches up and this marks the turning point of your life. This can either make you reach greater heights or it can bring you down from everything and make you live a miserable life.
The second year marks the mid time of your first and final year. In the third semester you experience the newness of the year and in the fourth semester you realize that nothing is permanent, that soon you would be in third year and you got to do something productive, career wise. It makes you realise that you got to fulfill every dream that you made your parents see. It looks confusing, it makes you demented but it disables you to live your present and you start ruining it because of your worries. You know that you don’t have any control over the situation.

"But this is the time when you realize that making mistake will help you grow, that making mistakes will make you wise, it’s the part of life which makes you smart."

Talking about Abraham Lincon, the ex-president of America, do you know that he was humiliated in front of his countrymen, he lost every election in which he participated. But the best thing about his career is that he didn’t give up his hope of getting elected one day. He never cared about people’s perception toward’s him. Rather he focused on his work and all those mistakes he made in the initial stage helped him become what he became.
Lincon is just an example, there are many who made innumerable mistakes. After making mistakes till a certain age, they learned from it and that is how they get wise. It might sound silly but it’s a fact that they were not any different than us. They were like us, they were human, they also got sad and angry and afraid and most importantly they were confused. At least we are not that much confused. If we have taken a course, we should know what we want to do, we have just forgotton our way to our destination  and I believe that this is the time to pull up your socks and realize the real meaning of your life, something which you always wanted but fears are the thing which we created. It is all in our power to eradicate our fears and practice is the key here. If we are afraid of something, say public speaking , then I believe that you should speak in front of people. You might make a mistake, a horrible mistake which might make you feel embarrassed. But trust me it would be a beautiful mistake of your life, it will change your perception towards public speaking, it will be the turning point of your life.

This way when you would be committing a lot of mistakes, you would become a wise person, a good public speaker, who won’t be committing much mistakes and people would be like, “how you manage without making mistakes” This would be the time when you would be able to say them that “its because I made all the mistakes which you are making now”. It means that you were at their place at one point of time but because you were fearless of committing blunders because you took them as stepping stones. It’s not just an empty talk. Mistakes really do helps you a lot. Make as many mistakes as you want to because they provide you with some right perspective about things and the next time you would be making new mistakes.

Maybe I am going off my topic but I myself don’t know what to write specifically, I am just putting words to my emotions. Trust me I also used to be scared of my future and I can make you believe that no one could be as scared of their future as me. For days, I used to be scared of what future holds for me. I used to be scared of the expectations that my parents bore on me. I mean they did everything they could so that I could follow my dreams. But I realized that I had stopped living my present.

"the truth is that when you stop living your present, your future holds nothing for you, no memories."

And that is where I realised that its either living in the present and happily working for your future or its about getting stressed out and doing nothing for our career. So I opted for the first option that I would be living my present and working for my future merrily that only if I will do the right things, right things will happen to me.

I hope this blog proved beneficial for you guys.

That’s it for now.

The love that feels right.

The Love That Feels Right

Everyday i see so many people in love. Some deeply fallen & some newly infatuated. What astounds me more is the fact that everyone's definition of love is different. Some think of it as a indescribable feeling, where as some take it as a yet another random word. All my life i have seen people complaining about the fact that they cant find "the one". The one who is supposed to be with them in every sphere of life. What i believe is that finding love is the easiest part in the whole journey of 'love'. After all we all are good at finding things which are hard to get.

"Finding love is easy than sustaining it" ♡♥

The moment our brain registers our feelings for someone, it starts sending signals to our heart, which in response beats faster whenever that person comes in a nearby radius. In this process our mind and heart works simultaneously. After being sure of the fact that s/he is the one, with whom we want to spend our life.We start pursuing that person. Now when you realize your feelings for that person, it gets harder to be in there presence without getting all flushed up! No matter what that person does, you will find it cute or adorable. This is the stage where you have to decide whether you can manage these feelings or not! Whether you want that person to be a part of your happiness and sadness!!

"Falling in love doesn't hurt but the stopping does"

We always mistake the outset of a relationship as a final destination. Beginning of a relationship with someone is just a start of a beautiful journey, full of ups and downs. And from this point either  your bond will flourish or it will just fade away with time.
This is when you get to know that sharing a bond is not just about holding hands or getting kissed. These are all a small essence of a relationship. The most vital part of a relationship is to respect each other for who you are. Without respect you are not going to end up anywhere . Your ship will definitely sink.

Usually, people casually get into a relationship and when things don't work out, they start repelling its mere existence. Now, you don't take it as a overwhelming feeling which used to make you all blush like fools. No its not your fault. Its human mentality to remember bad things first. As a result, you would pledge to never get into it ever again. You will again start building walls around you to protect you from the pain, which a failed love causes. We start getting away from the people, who have the potential to hurt us emotionally. We oath to never show our vulnerable side to anyone.

And why do we do all these things?
Simply because we are scared. Not scared of falling in love but scared of falling for the wrong person.

'The most beautiful thing about 'love' is that it knocks your door when you are least expecting it. Keep your protective walls as high as possible but the right person will know how to get through them. That person will make it harder for you to be scared. The right person will make you let go of all the negative feelings. They will make you love your own self. They will make you realize how precious you are! They will be able to bring out certain emotions, which were always there but were hidden.

But even after all this, if you fail to get your happy ending then remember, that love always deserves another chance.
