The epic tale of mistakes.

To begin with, I don’t know the exact sentence with which you could be enchanted to me. If you are afraid of what future holds for you, if you don’t have any idea regarding what you are doing to your career, then yes you are in the right place.

But if you are mistaking me as someone who would be giving you ready made answers then you got me wrong.
I mean if I need to tell you something then initially I should know about it. I am still in a confused state just like you. So I believe that we should find the answer together.

So it begins with the question, “what will I do after graduation”. You know this simple question is not so simple. When you hear this question, you either neglect this question or you go deep into it. If you neglect this question, its good and well, you will be happy, you will be away from depression, away from all the worries of life but your future won’t be secure. You will have to face this either now or later.
Moreover when you actually think about it, when you get the real meaning of this word, you will begin to face this question “what are you going to do?”
And this question, “what am I going to do” will ruin your present, trust me it will ruin your present.
So, this is what I am taking you to right now. People are really confused regarding what they are going to do. When we complete high school we are full of zest and hope. We are full of energy. We believe "ki kuch nahi hoga to kuch na kuch to kar hi lenge" and in the first year of college it’s not about what am I going to do about my career, it’s about how am I going to enjoy my college life. We are carefree and trust me, first year is the best year in your whole graduation period. It’s the only time when you won’t be thinking about your future, it’s the only time when the teachers won’t be asking you about your career. It’s the only time when your parents don’t pressurizing you about your future. And then people start expecting things.

"Expecting things, essentially isn’t a bad thing but when you know that you won’t be able to fulfill those expectations, then it hurts like a bitch."

This is where the guilt catches up and this marks the turning point of your life. This can either make you reach greater heights or it can bring you down from everything and make you live a miserable life.
The second year marks the mid time of your first and final year. In the third semester you experience the newness of the year and in the fourth semester you realize that nothing is permanent, that soon you would be in third year and you got to do something productive, career wise. It makes you realise that you got to fulfill every dream that you made your parents see. It looks confusing, it makes you demented but it disables you to live your present and you start ruining it because of your worries. You know that you don’t have any control over the situation.

"But this is the time when you realize that making mistake will help you grow, that making mistakes will make you wise, it’s the part of life which makes you smart."

Talking about Abraham Lincon, the ex-president of America, do you know that he was humiliated in front of his countrymen, he lost every election in which he participated. But the best thing about his career is that he didn’t give up his hope of getting elected one day. He never cared about people’s perception toward’s him. Rather he focused on his work and all those mistakes he made in the initial stage helped him become what he became.
Lincon is just an example, there are many who made innumerable mistakes. After making mistakes till a certain age, they learned from it and that is how they get wise. It might sound silly but it’s a fact that they were not any different than us. They were like us, they were human, they also got sad and angry and afraid and most importantly they were confused. At least we are not that much confused. If we have taken a course, we should know what we want to do, we have just forgotton our way to our destination  and I believe that this is the time to pull up your socks and realize the real meaning of your life, something which you always wanted but fears are the thing which we created. It is all in our power to eradicate our fears and practice is the key here. If we are afraid of something, say public speaking , then I believe that you should speak in front of people. You might make a mistake, a horrible mistake which might make you feel embarrassed. But trust me it would be a beautiful mistake of your life, it will change your perception towards public speaking, it will be the turning point of your life.

This way when you would be committing a lot of mistakes, you would become a wise person, a good public speaker, who won’t be committing much mistakes and people would be like, “how you manage without making mistakes” This would be the time when you would be able to say them that “its because I made all the mistakes which you are making now”. It means that you were at their place at one point of time but because you were fearless of committing blunders because you took them as stepping stones. It’s not just an empty talk. Mistakes really do helps you a lot. Make as many mistakes as you want to because they provide you with some right perspective about things and the next time you would be making new mistakes.

Maybe I am going off my topic but I myself don’t know what to write specifically, I am just putting words to my emotions. Trust me I also used to be scared of my future and I can make you believe that no one could be as scared of their future as me. For days, I used to be scared of what future holds for me. I used to be scared of the expectations that my parents bore on me. I mean they did everything they could so that I could follow my dreams. But I realized that I had stopped living my present.

"the truth is that when you stop living your present, your future holds nothing for you, no memories."

And that is where I realised that its either living in the present and happily working for your future or its about getting stressed out and doing nothing for our career. So I opted for the first option that I would be living my present and working for my future merrily that only if I will do the right things, right things will happen to me.

I hope this blog proved beneficial for you guys.

That’s it for now.
