Misconceived Feminism

If a girl talks about feminism, then the whole world starts thinking that she is here to claim how requisite she is. Feminism now a days is termed as an insult. And I cant even wonder why!

Feminism was a positive word, which was used in early 19th century to bring reform on issues such as reproductive rights, domestic violence,  maternity leave, women suffrage, sexual harrasment and so on.
This was actual feminism, not the things that we hear in todays world. What we get today is a seriously distorted image of feminism. Today's feminism is less about equality but more about domineering men. Many feminists are confused with the mere concept of feminism. Many take it as a imagined fight against men. They are under some spell which makes them hate men. Womens fought against crucials issues to attain equal rights. But now!
A girl riding a bike is feminism for us. Or worse, a girl doing jobs which were usually done by men is feminism for this generation. We deliberately do not want to see the bigger picture.

Although when the first phase of feminism started in late 1960's, women's imitated men. They thought that copying men would make them equal to them. They started doing things like men, starting from the clothing style to the manner in which they talked. But later on when they collected their thoughts, they
realised that how lame their opinion was and how weak they sounded.  And soon they realised their notion of feminism.

Now they considered that free women is the real recognition of a feminist.  A women who is not locked in the shackles of the society. That was the time when they truly established what feminism was.

The ironic part is that, on one hand women's demand equality and on the other side they solicite for exclusive rights. Many government examination forms are free for female gender. And I bet that every feminist out there ignores this fact and still uses these privileges.   Why?
Simply because they are bunch of feminists, who are so darn confused with their identify of feminism. And eventually they still call themselves feminist.

There was a time when world was in chaos of war and at that time women's undoubtedly needed guardianship. As the order of the world was maintained by force. And we all are well aware that females are weaker than men, when it comes to physical dimensions ( I see some feminists calling me sexist here). So men obviously had upper hand at that time. But now, to survive in this era all we need is cerebrum power. And luckily there is no dissimilarity in this case. So why are women's still treated as charity case?
They have access to everything, be it education or employment opportunities.

As a true feminist, I beleive that we, females dont need things to be served to us on clatter plates. Let us work hard for them. Please dont spoil us.

As emma watson said that feminism is about freedom of choice. Its about freedim, liberation and equality.

India: Soon To Be Union Of Quota

This is for sure, I will never understand why government is still entertaining the idea of reservation. Scenario's have changed, people dont need reservation system, they want it. And the difference between need and want is what government needs to understand.

Implementing Reservation system was fair, back in time but now it is all in vain.  Infact it has started to stirr the pot, which will definitely not be in favor of India's development.  Back to back vying of groups for reservation has started to become cliché. Jat arasxan, Patel reservation and maratha reservation. The list keeps growing. If not stooped,  then soon remaining groups wil join the agitation for their own quota.  Due to this people are still discriminating eachother. And only because of reservation system, people still remember castism.

Reservation was meant to help backward groups but now it has started showing its adverse effects. Spurring reservation system is like getting ready for the impending doom. Government should reconsider the rights given to people on the basis of thier caste, instead of this the idea of reservation on the basis of economic grounds should be entertained.
So, instead of swashbuckling over quota, peole should try emulation. It does wonders to their discerning capabilities. Getting assertive over reservation has becomes the new exhortion for Indians.

What astounds me more is the fact that people are looking forward towards special benefits, instead of eradicating it from its core. I mean if people under reservation voluntarily quit using quota benefit then it will become easy to curb reservation. But the reality is far from imagination. People are ready to get bloodied just for reservation. This is also the main reason why we are still a developing country. Due to this system, we opt a person for a job, who is less capable of doing it. That too only because of his caste.
For the closure i would like to quote Jawaharlal Nehru  "The only real way to help a backward group is by giving them enlarged possibilities of good education." By giving them education, we are giving them an opportunity to shine in this world just like any other person.
If we deeply analyse the current situation then reservation free India seems to be a utopia.

Introspecting others

We tend to get infuriated when someone says a word, which is against our perception and beliefs. Our upbringing never brought a concept of accepting that we are different and so are our ideas. We never learned to respect someone's view.

Now you must be wondering that what a silly topic i choose to discuss. but hey!

In my defense it is one of the major reason why we go through wars or fights.

World is a small place but when we look out for ideas, they are never ending.

The thing is in the process of growing up we never gave much thought to what other person thinks. We have a firm belief about our perception and when someone tries to challenge it, we get defensive. We so much get into it, that we forget that maybe, maybe the other persons perception might be reasonable. There are two kinds of truth;

1) my truth.

2) Your truth.

For example, the barbarians who attacked the rich land of India did so to earn wealth for themselves and their community however the natives of India experienced the attacks as ruthless barbarian acts. Similarly in order to facilitate our lives we are expanding our civilization at the cost of our ecology however the other forest creatures of our planet experience it as a ruthless act by humans. What we are doing in the name of development is good for us but its a life taking decision for the other creatures.

CONFUSING? Well you wont be anymore after reading this.

"Truth is a hypothetical illusion created by an individual based on his/her knowledge and belief".

A person will be able to see a situation only to a  point, till where his knowledge allows him to. They might not have a full clear picture of a situation due to insufficient knowledge. To see the truth you have to judge all the aspect of the situation, without judging it. The moment we see someone doing anything which is inappropriate according to the society, we start pegging that person as an outcast. We start believing that he is yet another person with abnormal thinking. In other words we simply start calling them 'pagal' (crazy). A person with different kind of analytical skills is a misfit in our society. Most of us choose not to accept them among us.

You all must have come across various situations where you just get into an argument because what the other person was speaking was completely opposite to what you think. In these kinds of situations most of us choose not to get out of the argument due to 'big fat reason' that we often call EGO. Who gets impregnated whenever someone tries to defy us.our society have defined what a normal person behaves like and if  we come across anyone who do not posses those qualities then according to the society they are useless, as they can not benefit society in anyway. We repel a person who is different and by doing so we repel his point of view. And this creates a situation of intolerance. In these kinds of situations, it is to be understood that all such issues comes from arrogance. Thinking that your way is the only way and all others are wrong is simply an egoistic arrogance. The one who keeps his arrogance aside, accepts others and does not face most of the difficulties that others face.

A child does not face any issues because he does not think he is intellectually superior. So he is untouched.
